One community for every acrobatic gymnastics coach in the world.
AcroCoaches brings together the coaches who design the routines, prepare the athletes and carry the responsibility for safety and progress — so that our collective experience becomes a single, well-reasoned voice in the development of our sport.
Free to join · Open to active and former acrobatic gymnastics coaches of every federation
Why a coaches community?
Coaches are not passive observers of our sport. We design routines, we teach the elements, we assess real difficulty and risk every day in the gym. Yet until now there has been no structured, worldwide channel through which that practical expertise can reach the people who write the rules.
Gather
A single place where acrobatic gymnastics coaches from every country can meet, discuss and consolidate their views — on difficulty tables, element evaluation, safety and the development of the sport.
Elect
From within the community, coaches elect a small expert group — the Coaches Council — trusted to turn the discussions of the base into formal, well-reasoned proposals.
Advise
The Council works as an advisory partner of the Technical Committee: it brings the community's expertise to the TC, and brings the TC's reasoning back to every coach in the world.
"The coach has both the right and the responsibility to express a well-reasoned opinion on every entry in the difficulty table." — Draft Regulations of the Coaches Council, 2026
How it works
A two-way bridge between the coaching community and the Technical Committee.
What the Coaches Council does
The Council is an expert advisory group — it does not replace the Technical Committee. Its first focus is the assessment, alignment and development of the difficulty tables for elements.
Gathering input
Consolidating the coaching community's position on specific elements and their ratings in the difficulty table.
Well-reasoned proposals
Formal submissions to the Technical Committee: summary, detailed rationale, routine examples and an implementation option.
Feasibility assessment
Evaluating whether elements are realistically achievable at junior and senior level, considering age and anthropometric factors.
Risk analysis
Identifying elements with a high risk of injury under their current rating and recommending safeguards and risk-reduction measures.
Trial periods
Developing criteria to test changes to the difficulty table in competition before final approval.
Precedent database
Documenting successful and unsuccessful changes to the tables and their real consequences for team preparation.
Founding documents
Read the draft documents that describe the vision and the working rules of the Coaches Council.
